About

I’m Sharee Silerio, a screenwriter and filmmaker who tells stories where Black women and girls exist as full human beings on screen and feel seen, heard, loved and affirmed beyond the screen.

My film and television credits include projects on cable and streaming platforms such as Netflix, Oxygen, Comedy Central, MTV, Prime Video and more.

From documentaries to digital series’ and narrative films, I use intimate and authentic storytelling to explore and reveal intrinsic magic, beauty and worth.

I’m a student of life who loves art and storytelling and I experience the world as an INFJ (in other words I’m creative, intuitive, complex, and am often misunderstood). I am a God-loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, cousin, niece, encourager and friend.

Throughout Sincerely Sharee, I share my journey to building unconditional and unapologetic love for all of who I am – my imperfections, contradictions, weaknesses, strengths, mistakes, and triumphs. It’s my journey to become the most sincere, pure form of myself. You can expect me to be transparent and honest at all times, revealing the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Overall, my heart’s desire is to love and be love by showing women who look like me that they matter, their pain matters and their healing matters, too.

From real-life struggles, relationship tips, uplifting quotes and letters to my younger self, to thoughts on faith and religion, critiques of the media and society, and opinions about race, culture, colorism and films, you can expect Sincerely Sharee to cover a wide range of topics.

Here’s to becoming your favorite place to be real, unwind and fill your cup!

Sincerely,
